A short bio
Nicolas Nadisic received the Diplôme d’Ingénieur (MSc degree) in Computer Science from INSA Lyon, France, in 2018. He completed his PhD in 2022, in the department of Mathematics and Operational Research of the University of Mons, Belgium. From 2022 to 2024, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the department of Telecommunications and Information Processing of Ghent University, Belgium. Since 2024, he is both assistant professor and researcher, sharing his time between Ghent University and the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (KIK-IRPA) in Brussels. His research interests include machine learning, signal processing, optimization, and data mining, with a particular focus on low-rank models, sparse approximation, and blind source separation. His fields of application include remote sensing, hyperspectral imaging, and art investigation.
